Ok. A bit of background. A girl in work we've known each other 3 years. In that time we became more comfortable with each other, were both quite shy, her especially but we got to a point where should was herself around me, and we'd flirt etc, but most of all she seemed comfortable around me. Anyway. I was away for 6 months and when I came back obviously it took a while to get back to where we were but we eventually got back to normal in terms of how we are with each other. anyway about 3 months ago my job changed which means we don't get as many opportunities to see each other, however she just seems to have totally changed with me. We know she quite shy, but when she's comfy she's fine. She is normal with everyone else, but with me she's gone totally the opposite. She'll only really speak if I initiate and even then it's like she doesn't know what to say. When she does talk her eyes wi ll be wide open. She can only talk freely is when were in a group but her eyes tend to stay on me more than anyone else, which I'm really confused by because she won't initiate. Anyway. She can barely look me in the eyes now, I've caught her quickly glancing at me every now and again, but if I'm looking at her, she will just keep her head down, the same when she walks past me.
The last couple of days I've had a few personal problems, she knows this because I've been making phone calls in work, and she's been quite short with me, and I've not been myself and when were in our morning meeting and the spotlight comes on me, she just looks sad and looks down at the floor?
I'm really baffled by what's going on, do you think I've done something to upset her. I'm gutted that she has totally changed with me.
gain today she really struggles to look at me. Again I was walking up to her, to walk past her, she just looks at my chest and then looks away. Yet at other points if I do something she'll go something like 'thanksss chris' like drags it out. Upon leaving I said goodbye and she seeya but drags it out again. I go home thinking I've done something to hurt her, for some reason she seems to be really odd with me. I said something today to her, a light hearted convo and she just looked at me and smiles and said nothing.
