Was just bored and thinking about life and the difference between people's true personalities and the way they act etc. It got me thinking are most people truly good but act bad due to social pressure etc or are people really bad and just act nice out of fear or to be accepted. For example there are some people who act like dickheads/appear arrogant and can be quite nasty but as soon as you get close friends with them or into a relationship they are different people. I don't think it's simply because they want sex or want to use you, a lot of it seems very genuine.. as though they just want someone to be close to/accept them and all the nastiness was just an act. They can go from being all macho/angry to acting all sweet and vulnerable around you lol and they start being nice to others. Which is the real them? The sweet vulnerable romantic side or the arrogant nasty side? What do you think, is it simple a 'nice act' that is put on by nasty people or are people generally genuinely nice and act nasty/bitter to get attention or whatever? Or a bit of both?
I hate asking questions like this as I tend to make myself look naive/dumb but I don't this this is a question anyone can answer with certainty anyway I just wondered what people thought lol.
Put the internet to work for you.
