My long term boyfriend of four and half years, has started to lie to me about pointless things and i dont know if i should leave him or tell him straight and give it one more try.
Thing hes lied to me about:
1) going away for a week with his family whilst i was going to be on holiday with mine. I know it sounds completely stupid but he never told me that he was going away and i found out from his sister teacher when we picked her up from school and she told them to have a nice time. I just didnt see any point in lying about going away.
2) He went to a party after work one night and never told me and i had to find out through pictures on social media the next morning and he only admitted going once i told him id saw the pictures. It was only a friends birthday party i dont see why i could of just said he was going after work instead of me finding out like that.
3) At this party he was a bit of a big talker and said a few things to two girls whom he knows really well through school and college and his friend had recorded it (which is how i found out). He denied that anything happened and he was just being a dickhead and text both the girls saying he was sorry for his behaviour the morning after when his friends asked him about it.
4) He told me he was going to a bonfire show/fair thing with his family when it turned out he went with all his friends. (This was on the day that he had planned to see me but said he couldnt because he had to go into work that evening until 8pm) but it turns out he went to work and then went out with his mates instead of seeing me.
Their all petty lies and i dont know what to do about the situation, whether to stay or go. Before these lies he had never lied to me before.
Im stuck with what to do, what would you guys do in this situation?
