It was a long term relationship and she broke up with me because she wanted to "go traveling" and I was quite happy in my job and didn't want to move. I supported her, didn't want to hold her back so she left and I haven't spoken to her since.
Now here's the thing. About a month before she broke up with me she went on a weekend holiday and I noticed her in a lot of photos with this one particular guy who was visiting that place from another country too. I got jealous, she told me I was being silly and so I ended up forgetting about it.
When we broke up, we talked for about a week or two afterwards before going totally no contact and she said she was going to take a short trip somewhere to clear her head before going full blow travelling. I never got as far as finding out where that was. We broke up by then.
I've recently looked her up on facebook and had a nose at her photos. Turns out that place was where he was from and they're now together and have been since shortly after the break up.
By now, I'm not terribly torn up over all of this but it kind of makes me thing "Oh". Part of me feels like a right idiot and I'm tempted to message her telling her what a lieing little turd she is.
Is that pointless though ?
