There's a person I'm mutually following on tumblr and he goes to the same uni that I do. We both have similar interests so I want to get to know him because he seems really similar to me and I want to make friends.
I'm okay with making friends in real life because I find it way easier talking in person and I can get hints as to whether they like me or not. Online though, I find it really hard. Like I've messaged this guy and he seems friendly and stuff but also shy so I'm constantly paranoid I'd be annoying him if I tried to talk to him more.
Not to mention, because of the nature of tumblr, I've found myself knowing a lot about him already yet not through conversation. I dunno, it feels weird to me, but I'm definitely determined to try and get to know him. My only problem is I'm scared of coming across as annoying because I'd find it difficult to pick up on it.
Ahh I dunno, any advice how I should do this?
