I've recently spent 2 weeks at a summer camp at the beginning of July with a few friends, one of which was a guy I've known for about 4 years. I've had a crush on this guy for the last four years, but it's mainly been superficial because I barely knew him. During the 2 weeks at camp, I got to know him much better and we're now really good friends. The problem is that getting to know him better has made me like him even more. He doesn't like me back though, he has a thing for some other girl that was there with us. They talked about their feelings but didn't get together because of distance.
We've been texting quite a bit recently and I've realised that I can't go on like this. Everytime I look at him I feel like I'm going to burst. He's gorgeous and funny and intelligent and amazing and just all-round great. But as I said, he doesn't like me back. I feel as he's the perfect guy for me but I need to get over him. I don't have time for it, especially as I'm starting uni this year.
Any tips on getting over him?
