So, this is quite ridiculous, but a guy on the street handing out flyers during a festival came up to me, and we got talking over the flyer etc. I felt that there was a chemistry between us and my friend even commented on it after we left. I later ran into him again and we had a second conversation which flowed very naturally and was somewhat flirtatious. I know it was his job to market something, but the connection did appear to be something real, I don't think I imagined it.
I didn't see him after that, but I couldn't help regretting not getting his name or number as its rare I feel an instant strong connection with somebody.
Here comes the creepy part. A few days later I was bored, and was looking up the festival the guy was flyering on facebook. After some mindless stalking, I came across a group for all of the people working for the festival, and, lo and behold the guy was in it.
I want to add him as I feel like we would get on and I'm not a fan of adhering to social norms and conventions; BUT I know that it could come across as rather creepy and he would wonder how on earth I came across him on facebook.
So the question is, is there any way I can add him and not seem like a stalker (perhaps by being honest and admitting I just thought he seemed cool and regretted not giving him my number?), or will I just have to let it go and move on?
Stupid predicament, but can't get it out of my head now. argh! Advice appreciated :)
Put the internet to work for you.
