I had a friend about 4 or 5 years ago and I didn't have a great relationship with my ex, this guy would come to my house every morning to go to school with me, he'd stay behind afterschool and he'd flirt with me at a youth club we went to and at the time I thought nothing of it. It turns out he really wanted to be with me but obviously I had a boyfriend and we kind of lost touch.
About 2 months ago he got in contact with me after we lost touch and old feelings just seem to be there. We got together to start with but he's decided he doesn't want to get with me because I'm going to uni next year and he's never done LDR before (which I have but I know how hard it can be, not easy at all), which is fair enough. However he has a car and picks me up after I've finished sixth form and after he's finished work as he has a full time job. We've started going out for drinks most weekends, we go to the youth club we once went to I'm 18 and he's 19 more of an old times thing, its been nice to catch up with the leaders after all these years. However everytime we are together we end up kissing and fondling mostly, things have ended up going further but not as far as sex but I have a feeling it will which is unusual for me as I usually only do that kind of thing in a relationship but all of a sudden we are really close. I came out of an abusive relationship in Decemb erish and haven't been with anyone since so its nice even if we aren't properly together but he said if we got together and I go to uni it would break him but essentially we are as close as we would if we were in a relationship. I end up missing him when he goes away on business and he tells me he loves me on occasion.
I have told him a few times how I really feel and how I'd like to be in a relationship and he knows I am fond of him but its just the uni thing. If I weren't going to uni he'd be with me and tried to discourage me last month but I've given up things I wanted to do in the past and won't again. Typing this it kind of sounds like FWB so I don't know what to think really. I'm staying at his on Friday night.
