It's hard knowing that in 100% of my mum's relationships that her partner does not have any feelings towards her. My dad and my have separated a little under 5 years now. The reason were because he was abusive and failed to help provide for us (my mum worked through 9 months of pregnancy and even went back to work after a few days of giving birth to my sister) and had 1 job in his life when he was a lot younger. My mum has been seeing another man for the last 4 years but he seems to be even worse than my dad, but my mum is so scared of dying alone and feels so unattractive that she clings on to this guy. This guy has cheated and continues to cheat on my mum and she just accepts it. I have clashed with this guy a few times and it always ends up with him becoming violent or my mum calling the police on me and even lying to them saying that I am being violent and abusive. I want to help her, but everything I do ends up with her pushing me away. What should I do?
