Apologies for the length of this post
So I have a boyfriend (25) Of 3.5 yrs.
we met at uni and graduated a year ago .
I worked full time as soon as we finished uni, and currently in a job which Is stressing me out and often makes me feel miserable and I've wanted to leave several times( and still do tbh) but I keep at it in the hopes of it getting better!
anyway, this post is about my unemployed boyfriend who hasn't worked at all during our relationship , so 3.5 yrs . This last year is what has been bothering me terribly as we can't move on with our lives!
All me, Him and his mum look for jobs for him. I've also helped him apply for some
Unfortunely no employers get back to him, not even " your application is unsuccessful" curtesy email. He's had one job interview in the last year as an assistant for river island which he was declined for !
Moving on, he's lost all motivation! And hasn't applied for anything in months! , it's insanely frustrating for me as Im always trying to help him look and his mum as said above. But he's just not interested , and Im completely at my wit ends . I've explained to him that it's bad luck that he hasn't received any responses and at the moment the job market is tough and everything that goes with it..
He's intelligent and creative and supposedly wants all the same things in life as me and we often talk about our future but it just feels like empty promises if that's the right term?
I'll also add that he doesn't claim JSA I just pay for everything..
can anyone offer some form of advice on what I can do to improve this situation? I'm completely drained and fed up with his un-cooperation. And I really don't want to become a nag..
