When you have talked to the person you love every day for 16 years and suddenly your world explodes and you don't talk to them or when you do it is a fight......
It is a physical pain. It is a yearning for something that you know is no longer there, but you want it anyway. It is not that you want the WS that is acting like a moron, you want the one you THOUGHT you had.
I am NC with him and it has only been a very short period of time. It is like that nagging toothache or headache that won't go away....except this time it is my heart.
I know it will get better with time, and some days are better then others....especially when he does or says something insane. I wouldn't wish a MLC spouse on my worst enemy. Actually I wouldn't wish ANY reason for this type of marital pain on anyone.
