I met a better guy who hugs me in public all the time and treats me to dates and keeps promises.
The past FWB guy was noncommittal, promised to go on dates but never did, made jokes about being single in public, flirted with waitresses in front of me etc. and didn't notice I hadn't texted him until 3 weeks later--now he texts me 2x/48 hrs. I'm thinking of writing him this letter via facebook because I already blocked his number:
"I'm not sure how to say this but--I think we're too different. I needed to feel like I was a priority instead of an option. When you joked about being single, I felt invisible. I missed going on dates; I missed feeling appreciated.
Basically, it's not you, it's me. I care about you as a friend. I'm seeing someone else now. Please don't hate me; I just think we're too different for anything to be sustainable in the long term."
Granted, he did hug in private and paid for me when in public but there's stuff about him I just can't handle any more. Can I break ties through fb msg if that's the only way we keep contact now?
