I've noticed that most of the time when I go out with a group of girls at least one of them will start talking about sex. Then they'll ask the whole group if they've had sex, how many people etc (please bare in mind it isn't the same group of girls I'm talking about). When it comes to me I say I'm a virgin and I get the shocked responses e.g. "Omg you're 24 and you haven't had sex". I have no problem talking about sex although I haven't had it. If I wanted to have sex in the past I could have , there have been opportunities. However I chose not to. I see nothing wrong with that and I have nothing to regret as yet.
Nevertheless It makes me feel a little awkward when I get their reactions. On one occasion some girls from work kinda made fun of me about the whole thing, I actually considered going home because I felt so uncomfortable. They made me feel like I was an outcast.
Anyway I'm going to a house party/ sleep over thing (all girls) and I'm worried this will come up again. I will undoubtably be put on the spot as usual.
How do I handle it this time around?
