Okay,
I've liked this guy for a really long time. He has told me that he doesn't feel the same way, however. I feel like he is giving me mixed signals. For example, if the conversation of us ever does come up then he'll say to me, "you truly are beautiful but I just don't think that we'd work because it would wreck our friendship..." there have been other times where I felt like something could happen. For example, at a party I was sitting next to him someone suggested that I kiss him, and he looked straight at me, he'd gone bright red and had a cheeky grin on him. That never happened, however. I think it was because I was quite reluctant to it because at the time he was mad about someone else. I've spoken to a lot of my friends about him and they all think that he's just being stupid and can't see what's in front of him. I think that one of my friends who I spoke to about this must have told him and he knew that i wanted to talk to him about something so he said, "is it to do with the fact that I'm giving you mixed signals." Then a few days later he was quite down about not being in a relationship and I said, you shouldn't be so down on yourself. You are sexy. He just said thank you and I thought that was the end of it. Then a few minutes later he went, "so you think I'm sexy then." With his personality I would usually take this as a joke," but the fact that he went afterwards, "you can't get out of this one" I thought it meant that he wanted to talk about my/his feelings. Does this mean that he wants to talk about us? Does it mean that he possibly wants to date me? Help!!
