I am going through a divorce, cheating wife, so I admit I aint in the best place to be singing marriage praises...but something I saw today made me think of the entire institution of marriage and just shake my head...I realize I made some assumptions and gemeralizations based on what I saw, but it felt right to me
I stopped for breakfast this morning at a coney by my work...sitting at a table acrosse from me was a very attractive 40 something woman...she was wearing hospital scrubs and had a rock on her finger...she is on the cell, cant hear but cant help but notice the very animated conversation, lots of laughing, and what seemed like weepy sappy looks on her face...ever heard her say "awwww"
then she looks up and puts the cell down, dude comes and sits with her....they barely talk and her smiles are gone...I got the impression this was her husband...I admit at this point it was a game and I was trying to guess her story...he is not a bad looking guy, they look somewhat in the same league...she has a sour puss look on her face and I can tell she got a bit aggrivated a couple times...he has coffee, gets up, they hug, and he leaves...
she is back on the cell, laughing, waiving her hands around and oblivious to the world around her again...
granted that guy could have been anyone...the person on the phone could have been her husband whom she was madly in love with...or it could have been her mom or sister...
but I see this all the time...women on their cells constantly...who the heck are they talking to??? Do husbands and wives really spend hours tlaking to each other on their cell phones?? maybe they should LOL:smthumbup:
