last week i was working in a room where there was a mirrored wall, i noticed a few people just couldnt stop looking at themselves, even though they were busy talking to various people, moving around, its like they had glimpse at themselves every few seconds. i also noticed a few colleques were constantly looking at themselves.
obviously its natural to get a glimpse of yourself if a wall is mirrored, but why constantly? like checking themselves out must have been constantly on their mind ...and also i think people think that nobody notices, when actually its really obvious. its like one of those habits that people think nobody notices because they dont see how others are viewing them.
and also i think people try and cover it up by after looking at their reflection, they are touching their hair, adjusting their clothes or something, to make it look like they are not being vain about their looks, but rather making sure things arent out of place.
why do people do this?
