Ok, so I found out a few weeks back now that a girl I work with, who I had no idea liked me, liked me. It sounds like a year 10 type thing, but the only reason I was told was because there was no obvious signs to me and I never looked at her in this way, only slightly. So, after being told I've gradually noticed an influx of things happening where she tries to touch my back or I catch her looking over at me etc. Anyway, long story short I am really not sure what to do. I never really saw her in that way, unless of course we got to know each other better and actually met up properly and went out, and then I got a thing for her. I have been debating in my head recently whether to do this and suggest to go out, just us two. But, there are a few things bugging me. She is Hindu, and I personally don't believe in religion, I know it sounds a little strange but I don't think I could get on with her praying everyday and so on. She also has no similar music taste to me, and doesn't like the things I do, but for a few. However, she is a nice girl, there is not a bad bone in her body, she's attractive, we both believe in the same things (not religion of course!) and I get on with her (unless I can't hold a really long good conversation with her if and when I meet up with her).
So, my dilemma is this: what should I do? Am I compensating because I haven't had a girlfriend in years and this is the first proper thing I am 80% sure could go somewhere? Or should I just go out with her (this is where I get worried, I am not a horrible person and would hate to lead a girl on if I don't feel it's going anywhere)?
Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
