I have been married now for over two years. My husband has a 6 year old with a girl he got pregnant on a drunken night. Now, I understand he was at fault also, that's not the issue. She has given him pretty much zero say, he is obese and even after several conversations with her ,, there is no change he just keeps getting bigger. He has a delayed learning issue because she drank during her pregnancy. That's just the beginning. After we agreed less than a year ago to pay 100% of his insurance, premiums, copays and deductible and put 2800.00 in a fund, she blew it all taking him to the er for a sore throat. Now, our fund is at up and we have a family of four on it. Here is the most recent thing that frustrates... she took him to have tubes in his ears and chose an out of network facility and insurance doesn't cover it... so we get a bill for $6000.00. I am livid and on top of this she took him for child support of 600.00 a month after our mutual agreement on top of what we have paid out. She has different men in and out of her house. When I take him home, there is always a different car there from the night before. She has had STD... Its horrible.
Now I am livid and my husband still wants to be all nice and friendly after this girl keeps screwing us horribly. I am fighting with him because of it and it causing serious problems in our marriage. There is no reason... givin the situation, to be "friendly". I tell him he has to take care of his son, but there is zero reason to be "friendly". He is married and we have a great marriage other than that... but I refuse to budge. I feel the conversations should be limited to health and education.... not Did you take him to the fair today, Why didn't you take him to the fair today. Then it leads into a conversation of what she is doing and blablabla.... while I am sitting here looking down the barrel of a 6000.00 plus bill that should have been avoided and a dirty ***** to go along with it... How do I handle this? He said he would choose her and his son over me... I am hurt and confused.
