Guy I like said I look like a cute cat....

Ok this may sound a little silly but this guy that I have a huge crush on did say this. He also once said that I have "pretty cat eyes" ( I don't know why he compares me to cats). What does this mean?

PS: I Guess deep down,I know that he only sees me as a cute platonic friend but I need some one else to slap me with the truth.:(
