Does this other guy like me?

Anon please, as I know people on here. I've recently graduated from uni, and I only really have one friend at home. I got talking to a guy from college, who I used to be friends with. He seems like he's still a decent guy. The only thing is, he talks to me almost every day, keeps asking to meet up, and says 'sweet dreams'. He knows that I have a boyfriend, who I love, I'm not flirting, and always try to mention my boyfriend in conversation. The thing is, I've been pretty lonely since I moved back home, so I want to make some friends. I just don't want to be friends with someone who has other intentions. So does anyone have any idea how I could ask him, or find out? Or is it fairly obvious?

If he does like me, then I really need some advice on how to approach this. I'm not a mean person, and I can't stand being harsh.
