| I recently met an American girl from Florida on an international summer school program. We both really like each other and want to make it work but there is a major problem- we live 4,000 miles apart. I'm planning to visit her this Christmas and she wants to visit me in February for my birthday. She's planning to go to a university here in the UK but that's almost two years away and I don't know if I can wait that long. I want to continue the relationship but I'm just trying to be realistic- (flights to the states aren't exactly cheap either.) I've never had a long distance relationship before. Does anyone have any advice or tips they can share from past experiences? | |||
