Going to Uni; worried it will affect my relationship

So i'm starting Uni in 3 weeks and i'm worried that it willaffect my relationship. [Context]. I've been seeing my boyfriend for about 4 months now, and altho it doesn't seem that long we have really hit the ground running and have spent most of the summer together. So my main worry is that Uni is too big a life change and it will ruin it. I'll be moving further south [he lives in Leeds and i'll be moving to Sheffield] and altho we've spoke about trains, it will be a longer journey from at the moment. To add to this, i've had a few friends saying that people who go to University in a relationship don't often last very long once they start. Just to make this clear, i'm not very outgoing and flirtatious so cheating wont be a problem. But do any of you guys have been told this? This isn't a troll by the way, and basically what i'm asking is: Have you/or someone you've known continued with their relationship they were in before they started University? Should I truly be worried? Or is it just my insecurities?
