Possible to get back together?

I was dating this girl for 3 months (long-distance with weekly visits) and the honeymoon stage was amazing. However, we both moved to fast and she broke up with me a week ago because of the distance and because I somehow remind her of her ex she was with for 2 years that she broke up with. She wants to stay friends and talked about possibly dating again when I move back. We still talk, but definitely not like it was before so I guess that's why I'm here. Because it's been irritating me and I want to know how to fix it. Lately I've just been staying busy and enjoying time to myself, waiting for her to text or call me and she does at least once a day. I'm confused and going to bed now lol.
