just need some input

a girl that I have been friends and in love with is mad at me for being upset she is seeing someone else. we have been physical for about a year and a half and have become roommates. she told me that she didnt want anything serious because of past relationships and didnt think i deserved that in my life. I felt otherwise... she comes from a broken family. so my question is if its possible that she is going with this other guy (who is nothing to speak of and has his own problems) because she feels she is not good enough for me? I am terribly confused because we had a great relationship up until now. I do still love her very much too
