I'm fed up with my boyfriend, am I overreacting ?

I have been getting more and more fed up with his laziness as he doesn't do much housework on his days off whilst I'm working. Yet, on my days off, I ensure I get alot of housework sorted, despite my urge to sit down and relax. We both work, I work full time, he works when required. But today, he bought new components for his PC, almost £400 worth on finance. I'm left with £30 in my bank to last til payday, and yet he gets tonnes of new stuff which is not required. He bought speakers for the tv, which I wanted (which would also be for both of us as TV is within our home) but it isn't compatible. Considering he bought our tv and he decided which surround sound speakers to buy, he would know they wouldn't work. (I'm not a tech savvy so I wasn't aware there could be an issue.) But as it was bought on finance cannot return, so he quickly moved it all and plugged it to his pc. So he is now blasting loud music, despite me telling him to turn it down. Am I overreacting to want to storm out of this house right now? I think he is being very selfish and rude.
