Teacher Feeling

I've been in love with a teacher for over 2 years, I'm not silly to act on it as that's not fair on anyone. We have such a bond, she helps me out, banters me and we talk like we're friends. I've left now though but I can stop thinking about her. Should I have explained to her for closure? I obviously wasn't hoping to get anything out of it, I mean tell her for general closure. As I'd know she knows and that's it. Help?
