Would you risk herpes for casual sex?

I'm in a mutually agreed upon friends with benefits relationship. I have herpes and he does not. I made him aware of the risks before we did anything, expecting rejection because he was clear that he was not looking for anything serious, and would be moving 3 states away soon. Surprisingly he said he didn't care, and even though we take precautions he knows he could still get it. We have had sex 4 times and he hasn't bailed yet or gotten freaked out. I have to admit, if I was in his position I could not risk it for something casual. Most people wouldn't, and I told him so. Do you think it is possible he DOES have feelings for me? Because I am not looking for something serious but wow I would feel horrible if he got it. He doesn't act like he views me as more than a friend, but I can't wrap my head around the idea of taking such a risk for a fling. What do you think?
