To have sex or not to have sex... opinions?

I was wondering what people's opinions on this would be. Last summer at camp I met a lovely funny fella who kissed me on the last night and made it clear he would like to go further. I said no, seeing as that was my first ever kiss and I thought I shouldn't lose my virginity that way. Anywho, there's a possibility I might see him again at camp, and I can't help but wonder, should I have done it because you're only young once and I found him extremely attractive and sex is fun right?, or am I right to wait? I'm 19, which makes me feel a tad pathetic :$ Just wondered what people's opinions were :)
