| My husband and I have been together for a little over 7 years now, married for 1 1/2. We are young, have 1, 1 year old child and basically grew up together. We know each other quite well; regardless, he is a compulsive liar and literally lies about EVERYTHING. Doesn't matter what the conversation, he will lie about whatever the situation. It's come to the point where I call him out on his lies now and flat out say something like " Yeah, are you sure about that?" , " Is this another lie?" He usually fesses up and says " Yeah, sorry. Don't know why I said that." He knows he has a problem, but won't try to fix it. Refuses any kind of therapy. We're at the point in our relationship, now, where I can't trust him and I've turned into this creepy, snooping wife 24/7, and I don't like it. Snooping one day, I found porn ( nothing unusual - another serious problem I've come to deal with) only this time is was a girl we knew in high school, which I ha d a serious problem with. He swore up and down he just found the pictures and liked them - do I trust him?! He also refuses to talk to me face to face about anything serious. We do not spend any time together anymore... I really don't know what to do. I want our marriage work, I do love him but I feel like he isn't trying. When I try to communicate about this whole mess with him, he blows it off. I've tried every way in the book. Face to face, e-mail, letter, he just tells me what I want to hear then goes and does the same thing the next day. They're some other issues I haven't listed but this is the breaking point for me. I could really use some advice. | |||
