My bf is very good friends with a very serious ex and it really bothers me

Okay so my bf is basically the man lottery. He's nice but not spineless. Ethical and handsome. Incredibly talented artistically. Sweet to me and great with my kid too. HOWEVER- not only does he have a whole lot of very attractive female friends, but he is closest friends with a girl he dated for three years, lived with for two of those. On top of that, she is waaaaay better looking than me (and I'm good looking) :p She's thinner, has better teeth, toner, just all around hotter. I know they shared ideas of marriage and children together and all that and I just can't get over, I really don't think it's possible for two people who dated for years romantically, got it on with each other for YEARS, to suddenly be just like "oh yeah it's totally platonic now". I don't even think that's physiologically possible! But he's insistent, it's just a friend thing now, that's it. But it really bothers me a lot. I suck it in because I love the hell out of him... :glare: How can I care less about this so I can have a successful relationship with an amazing man?
