| My wife and I have been talking about trying new things. No, wait. That's not accurate. I've been talking about trying new things with my wife. We have these kinds of conversations about twice a year. They tend to end up in the same place: I suggest something, she tells me in no uncertain terms that she's not interested in my suggestion but will try if I'm interested, which makes me more than a little angry. I get frustrated about asking for anything out of the norm because I get the same answer every time... "I'm not interested but I'll try if you want me to." I'm I right in being bothered by this, or should I just shut up and appreciate that fact that she says she's willing to try at all? | |||
