Does it really seem that obvious that I love him?

I've been seeing someone for just under a year. It's a very private relationship, hence why I don't want anyone to know who I am. (Yes I know this is the internet but I figured I could bend the rules if I put anon).

We've never labelled anything. Both got out of serious relationships early last year but we enjoy one another's company. I can't give it a name, as we've tried to be very casual and unique about our connection, but if you're having trouble understand I suppose it can be a bit related to an "open relationship".

He came to me with help on writing a CV as he regards me as more literate than him (untrue in my opinion), and I have a laptop and have seen many CVs in my work place and know good from bad etc etc there were a few more reasons. He just wanted some help really.

So I've spent a few hours this week already sorting out his CV for him, and on the phone to him discussing it. He asked me for help.

Today my friend goes "What are you doing?" and another friend we were with said "She's doing her boyfriend's CV" as a bit of a joke. So I laughed and commented that he wasn't my boyfriend. Then the first friend said "You're doing a CV for him!? That's love. That's a girlfriend."

It got me wondering a couple things. First, does doing something like that for someone automatically scream "she must be his girlfriend".
And could agreeing to such a favour suggest to him that I love him? He was the one who asked me, after all. Although it's true, I would rather not reveal such strong feelings to him - at least just not yet.
