| When I was younger, I was naturally cold and did not care for physical touch. I was always annoyed when my mom, dad or family members wanted a hug and a kiss. Even to this day, I am leery of those people who are "huggers" - you know, the people who in public setting feel the need to embrace you as opposed to a simple greeting. However, at home with my wife and kids I am big into physical touch. I'll even put my are around my wife, caress her back, etc even in public. But if with other people, I am very conscious of personal space. Is anyone else completely different at home as opposed to out in public? I would expect most people are either touchy feely or distant regardless of setting. However, I have a "split personality" when it comes to physical touch. Would you say that's normal or unusual? I recently became curious about whether others are out there who think the same way I do. I'd shudder to see the person who is touchy/feely in public with strangers but cold to their spouses and kids. That would be different. | |||

Are you touchy feely at home but more "cool" in public?
