Last year of uni, problem with an ex

Well me and my ex broke up in first year of our uni down in London, and since then there has been little or no conversation between us what so ever. We have both moved on, but its this feeling, that when I leave uni i will never see her again, so i was thinking of actually contacting her, ive got nothing to lose right? Last night i saw her in a nightclub, and she came up to me for a chat, but i was drunk so dont remember what she said. My question is, should i just have a go? just see how things go? or should i just leave it and forget her for ever?
